This event will be held on Zoom on 27th January, 14:30– 15:30 (GMT).
This event features policy-relevant contributions by Fionnuala Ní Aoláin and Mario Gomez on the human rights and civil society implications of the use of extensive counter-terrorism measures in Sri Lanka and the impact of the recent 20th amendment to the Sri Lankan constitution on democracy, power-sharing and ethnic relations. Invited Sri Lankan civil society actors will give a short reaction or commentary on the contributions before a broader discussion with the audience.
